Patch Published Aug 11, 2026 [20260724]
Stability Fixes
- 2473 – Fixed an issue where users in the Datasheet View were incorrectly shown a Trial License prompt and could not access KWIZ Settings. Settings now load correctly without the erroneous license prompt.
- 2507 – Fixed an issue where Org Chart search results did not populate First Name and Last Name values, causing mappings such as [FirstName] [LastName] to appear blank. The Azure AD search now returns these attributes correctly, allowing users to display properly formatted names without relying on [dvp_Name], which also resolves overly long names in People Cards.
- 2505 – Fixed an issue where the Org Chart popup card did not display mapped user profile properties whose internal names contain special characters (for example, SPS-Location). Popup cards now correctly display these mapped values, including State, providing consistent results across both the popup card and table view.

Formsv3.1-ACS-Retirement Mar, 23 2026
This release includes stability improvements for the Shared Filter functionality. Previously, users experienced issues when using Shared Filter together with Data View Plus on the same page, including the Filter option not appearing. These issues have now been resolved. We have also improved how Shared Filter works with different types of fields, including custom fields and text values, ensuring more consistent and accurate filtering. In addition, filtering by user fields and connections between web parts has been corrected, resulting in a more reliable and smoother overall experience.

v1.6 Patch Published Mar, 06 2026 (20260222)
This patch provides stability improvements for Data View Plus,
- 2354 - Addressing an issue where forms could intermittently show a white screen when opening records from a List or Calendar Plus web part.

Org Data Filtering Enhancements
- 2259, 2260, 2273 - Added support for entering a Microsoft Graph
$filter expression in the Entra Profile data source. The filter is applied both at the data source level and to search results, ensuring consistent behavior.
This allows:
- Excluding test accounts
- Limiting results to users that meet specific criteria (for example, filtering by email domain).
- Invalid or unsupported filter expressions may result in no data being returned..
- 2288 - Calendar Plus- Fixed an issue where SharePoint lists used as a data source did not load correctly in Full Page mode when KWiz features were enabled. Existing and new events displayed incorrectly from Calendar Plus. The list now loads correctly in Full Page mode.

- 2176 - List filter Plus - filter control fix applied, resolving inconsistent issues when filtering by name. Addition of Display Name filter to resolve inconsistent results.
v1.6 Patch Published July 25, 2025
- 2156 - We've expanded the Org Chart capabilities to support organization-specific employee attributes from Active Directory.
What's New:
- Display custom employee identifiers like badge numbers, employee IDs, or department codes on org chart cards
- Search employees using these custom attributes (e.g., find someone by their employee ID)
- Access up to 15 custom extension attributes from your Active Directory
- Configure everything through the existing column mapping interface - no coding required
How It Works:
Simply navigate to your EntraID User Profile data source settings and map any of the newly available attributes:
- Employee ID
- On-premises SAM Account Name
- Extension Attributes 1-15
- Mobile Phone Number (with "starts with" search)
Once mapped with a display name, these attributes automatically become searchable and appear on employee cards.
This enhancement is particularly valuable for organizations with specialized identification systems or compliance requirements, enabling you to leverage your existing Active Directory investments directly within DVP Org Chart.
Note: All existing configurations continue to work without modification. The enhanced search automatically includes any newly mapped attributes.
Version 1.5 Release May 28, 2025
Org Chart Lazy Load (aka: Load on-demand)
Introducing a new data source type specifically designed to support large organizations. This change will load user profile info from Graph API, with new capabilities to lazy-load (load only what is needed on-demand) staff or managers when the user interacts with the control.
This enhancements includes:
- Improvements in load times,
- Simplifies the data source configuration
- Introduces new experiences when interacting with the org chart controls that will become available when using this new data source.
This version also introduced a new data source type:
- Microsoft Entra User Profiles, based on Microsoft Entra, dedicated for the Org Chart data type, with simplified configuration that takes full advantage of the new lazy loading design.
This data source utilizes our existing graph API connections but replaces it for most common uses with a more simple, user friendly editor. - The SharePoint User Profiles data source was also updated to support the lazy loading design pattern.
When using a supported data source and control, the org chart will load much faster, and you will see changes in the rendering and search capabilities specifically designed to support larger organizations with thousands of user profiles.

Patch Published June 9, 2025
We've completed the enhanced search functionality for Org Chart with lazy loading data sources.
What's New:
- Search now queries your entire user directory, not just currently loaded users
- Selecting a search result instantly recenters the org chart with that person as the starting point
- Particularly beneficial for large organizations using Microsoft Graph or SharePoint User Profile data sources
This update ensures you can quickly find and navigate to any employee in your organization, regardless of dataset size or initial load configuration.
