Adding the conditional formatting control to the layout, allows you to

• Create color and icon customization and apply them to specific employees based on conditions.
• Mark employees as assistants so they will use the assistant card template.

   

1. Edit the page and click the gear icon within the top bar of your Org Chart app.
   
2. Verify that Conditional Formatting control has been enabled using the toggle.
   
   
   
3. You will now see the Conditional Formatting control where you can add conditional formatting rules.
   1. To add a new rule, click the "Add" button, a new empty rule will be added:
      
   2. Start editing the rule from left to right, starting with Icon, colors & label.
      Please make sure you have selected "Format - Entire Item" to color the employee card.
   3. Add a condition if you would like to apply color to a specific employee card.
   4. Save

Example, Apply a blue background color to an employee card if it equals my name& change the text color to black within the employee card.
